Sky box not getting a signal

Hello, thank you for using Howly.
Let's try to reboot your Sky box

power off/card out wait 1 min. Power back on / card back / wait 4 mins.

Could you switch off the Sky Box directly from the mains and do this for all connected devices (this may include your internet router)?

Power back on to box and router
Still no signal. Message unchanged,

Could you press the standby button on your remote, then turn your box off at the mains?

Message now says: no signal check your antenna connection which I have done by securing connections at rear of box

Could you follow this instruction, please:

  1. Press the standby button on your remote, then turn your box off at the mains.
  2. Press and hold the backup button on your box.
  3. While still holding the backup button, switch your box back on at the mains.
  4. Keep pressing and holding the backup button for up to 30 seconds, until you see all four lights on the front panel turn on, then release.

Could you please give me a clue as to which is the back up button- they seem not to be marked.

Yes. The box is low down as nd my bones are rather ancient .
