Please fill out this form: https://help.instagram.com/contact/396169787183059.
This will allow you to contact Instagram and ask for a review if your account was disabled by mistake.
Alternatively, you can also try to submit this form using the Facebook website: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/606967319425038
What do you see when you click on next?

Customer Replay

It says it needs to confirm the account by sending a confirm code to my email.

Is there any other options to send?
Like phone number?

Customer Replay

No
just the email

Ok I’ll try that again
The problem is the account Hasn’t been deactivated
should I force it to be disabled by putting in the wrong confirmation code?

This is probably just a verification procedure due to the fact that someone tried to log into your account or you used a VPN or the wrong password before

Customer Replay

Yeah the link above doesn’t work because the account is still active.

Do you have another device where you can ask for the code?

Customer Replay

I tried that as well

Got it
Have you tried to reinstall the Instagram app?

Customer Replay

I also checked to see if it was an IP address issue and my IP isn’t on any block lists
I’ll try that.
There are a number of posts that Apple Mail is not receiving emails from Instagram.

I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to white list the email with my iCloud.com account.
I have added all of the Instagram email addresses in my apple mail browser as a white list rule, but still no success.

Do you use the Mail App by Apple to access your email?

Customer Replay

Yes.
I've tried the web version and the native version

Are you sure the code has been sent to *****@icloud.com?

Customer Replay

Yes
I have a second instagram account with the same *****@icloud.com address. I checked the notification records for that account and it shows that emails were sent today that I have not received in my iCloud.com account.
I checked junk mail as well.
I also tried whitelisting Instagram email addresses in the Apple Mail native email client.

Are you chatting from a MacBook or iPad?

Customer Replay

MacBook
I have both though

Let's try to remove your account from the Mail app and add it back:

  • Open the Mail app on your Mac.
  • In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click on "Mail" and select "Preferences".
  • Click on the "Accounts" tab.
  • Select your iCloud account from the list of accounts on the left-hand side of the screen.
  • Click on the "-" button at the bottom of the accounts list to remove the iCloud account from Mail.
Customer Replay

I deleted it. Should I try adding it to Outlook instead?

Top answer
  • No, once you have removed the account, click on the "+" button at the bottom of the accounts list.
  • Select "iCloud" from the list of account types.
  • Enter your iCloud email address and password when prompted, and click "Set Up".
  • The Mail app will verify your account settings and then add your iCloud account back to Mail.
Customer Replay

OK. Done

Good. Do you need to sign in to Instagram on your phone or MacBook?

Customer Replay
