I made a real mess with 2 facebook accounts

I had 2 facebook accounts, *****@ va.gov& *****@gmail.com. A friend of mine was hacked. I had tried to close both accounts. I actually send friend requests on an open account. Now I can acces an account on phone, ph# *****, but I think an acccount I have under *****.. Can you help me straighten out this mess?

I see that different FB accounts have different backups, so they are not actually tied to one email. Are you sure, that when you reset the password for the *****@gmail.com, you got to the wrong account?

went through the process of going through settings and that process
Then why do you think you haven't deleted them?

Just to your knowledge, even if you have deleted your accounts, as soon as you will go to the Facebook sign-in page and will put the login for the account (the one you have used already), it will get reactivated

So, once you will press the "delete" option, just don't log in to it.
