Please, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Save your project.
Close the Cricut Design Space app.
Open your phone Settings, and unpair your Cricut machine from your mobile device.
Re-pair your Cricut machine to your mobile device.
Launch the Cricut Design Space app.
Attempt to complete your project again.

How do I unpair it? My daughter set it up for me.

Sure, Please follow the next steps:
Open Settings > Bluetooth.
Click on the "i" near the device that you want to remove/forget.
Based on the current status of the device, you'll get the option Forget This Device.

I have it up in settings but it doesn’t give me the option to unpair it

i can turn the Bluetooth off

In that case, you can take a photo of your iPad screen with the phone.
To attach pictures to our chat, you need to press the paper clip button in the lower right corner of the chat window. Then you have either to choose an image on your device or take a photo right away. Then confirm sending.
