I just moved to a facility that has it's own tv system and I'm wondering what xfinity offers me in this situation?

No, it is separate app.
You will have to install it to the TV and then subscribe to stream it.
So if I didn't have Xfinity I would not be able to see any live tv? I thought there was more involved.
I do not guarantee that, you may have other apps to have live TV.
Can you give me a couple examples of what those apps would be?
Hulu, Peacock, Roku...
