Problem with my BT phone,when we ring out ,we can hear reply but we cannot be heard.

Short summary:

Check if the Secrecy or Mute feature is turned on. When this feature is turned on, some cordless phones will show Secrecy On or Mute On in the handset display.
If Secrecy or Mute is on, turn it off from the main menu by dialing 1572 from your landline phone.
If turning off Secrecy or Mute does not resolve the issue, try resetting the phone by switching off the mains power for five seconds and then turning it back on again.
Test the phone by making a call and verifying that you can be heard by the other party.
