My Cricut auto press is not heating

Short summary:

  1. Unplug your Cricut Auto Press from the power outlet and then plug it back in. Try a different outlet if the issue persists.
  2. If the device is not heating up or connecting to the app, sign out of the Cricut Heat app and sign back in. If the issue persists, force close the app, then sign back in, and try connecting again.
  3. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to perform a factory reset on your Cricut Auto Press.
  4. Unplug the Cricut Auto Press from the power outlet and wait a few minutes. Then, plug it back in.
  5. If your Cricut is not reaching the desired temperature, ensure the device is properly heating up for at least 8 minutes to reach 400°F.

I managed to fix the heating problem by doing a hard reset, unplugging the machine, waiting a bit, and then plugging it back in.
