I'm trying to descale my Keurig

I just get a readout descale. It won't do anything with that reading on.

Nice to meet you, *****!
Do you know the model of your Keurig?

Customer Replay

Where is that located

The serial numbers for most of their brewers can be found on the side, behind the water reservoir. Lift the water reservoir up and away from the brewer to reveal the serial number.

To activate Descale Mode, begin with the brewer plugged in and powered off, then press and hold the 8oz and 12oz buttons together for 3 seconds. When flashing, press the brew button to start the descaling process. Once the brew is complete, pour the hot liquid into the sink.

It is now brewing

author

Okay, please let me know if that has fixed your issue.

Customer Replay

Do I need to do it 3 times

author

No
It should be done after the first try.

Customer Replay

My dealing solution says to repeat the brewing 3 times

Okay.
In that case you may do it 3 times to make it is descaled.

Will the descale readout disappear

author

Yes. It should.
