To close your account, follow these steps:
1. From the Me drop-down menu at the top of the page (or Care.com hamburger drop-down menu for smaller windows), click Settings & Privacy. Click on the link to go directly there. https://www.care.com/member/profile.do
2. Scroll down to Membership Information and select Close Account.
3. Select the reason for closure from the drop-down menu and click Continue.

When I click Cancel Membership it takes me to a page with opportunities for service
You have to scroll down to Membership Information and select Close Account .
