I need my credit card to go through on this Xbox game pass account so I can play my games

Xbox / Microsoft won't take the same card i'm using now because they tried to take my ultimate game pass payment on the 31st of Dec for Jan payment and I get paid on the 1st of every month

What we will do with your payment method is updating card or deleting it and re-adding it in your account.
Please follow the next steps:
1. Sign in to the Microsoft account you want to update (Microsoft account)
2. Go to Payment & billing and select Payment options. You can add or edit payment methods from here.
3. Under Payment methods, you can Add a new payment method, View or edit card, or Remove card.
4. Enter your updated info, and select Save.

Maybe you can even delete a card?
And then add again?

It says I can remove this card right now cause I ow
Because I owe a back fee..? I've tried paying it all through Jan and they are supposed to take it off but never did. This is crazy

You see, I am checking the instructions now. A credit card cannot be removed while on an active membership, so basically we are in loop right now. Let me dive deeper!
