To request a return or exchange: Sign in to Order history, and then select Refund information.

The recipient can’t return or exchange the gift code. But they can ask you to return the item for a refund.
Even in this case, you can follow these steps:
1. Sign in to Order history - https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
2. Select Refund information. If you don’t see Refund information, your item may not be eligible for a
return.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to get a prepaid shipping label for the return. If you can't get a prepaid shipping label for the return, contact support.
Microsoft / Xbox policy only allows one digital refund per Xbox account per calendar year.
You must request a refund for an unredeemed code within 14 days of making the purchase. If the code has been redeemed, we’re unable to process a refund, even if it’s within 14 days of purchase. For more info, see:
