Are you positive that you are closing the door all the way in?

Customer Replay

Yes
Do I leave the handle open and then close it and put the code in or do I close it and then put the code in?

Please first close it then put the code.

Customer Replay

That did not work

To activate the Locking System, locate the locking push button on the inside of the safe door, push it in and turn the handle to the left. This will cause the live door bolts to extend out and into the locked position.

Customer Replay

done that

Did it lock?

Customer Replay

Yes it is done while the door is open but you can't shut the door lie that

Okay and when you try closing it after that?

Customer Replay

Does not lock

Have you done this?
Locate the small plastic Locking Pin on the inside of the safe door. Grip and pull out completely then dispose of properly.

Customer Replay

I know NOT to do that

OK It was confusing. There is a white plastic pin on the very inside and a small black key inside the door.It is the very small black ket that needs to come out. IT WORKED

Thank you for your help. The instructions that came with the safe are not the best.

You are welcome.
