I just bought a KNS bread machine, it states first use to oil or butter pan which I did

Moved it to 14 bake mode. How do I add the 10 minutes to the time?

You should see the timer to count down
Could you please unplug the baker from the outlet for a minute and plug it back in?
Customer Reply
okay I do smell the smoke slightly
Oliver Maslou
Oliver Maslou Tech Expert & Writer
Understood, and does it come from the baker itself?
Customer Reply
I smell it from behind the baker
just under the hinge
snd the timer is counting down now

Got it. No worries, that's a normal phenomenon, it's caused by the high-temperature oxidation of the protective film on the heat tube
Just to clarify, you haven't plugged out the baker, correct?
Customer Reply
correct when I went to unplug it I then smelled the smoke

Thanks for clarifying that. It seems like we launched the baker for an hour :) Please, when the timer reaches 00:50, press and hold the "START/STOP Pause" button for 3 seconds
After that, please, unplug the power cord and wait until the baker totally cools down
Customer Reply
