What did come with it?

Customer Replay

A SKY BLUE BALL AND COMPUTER WIRE AND VERY LIMITED INSTUCTIONS.

When did you install the device?

Customer Replay

ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO AND LISTENED TO LOTS OF XMAS MUSIC. BUT WHEN I INSTALLED THE MISSION BATTERY BASE IT DOES NOT WORK.
THEREHIS A RED LIGHT ON UNDER THE BALL

When you see a red light on an Echo device it usually means the device can't hear you. That could mean the microphone isn't working or has been turned off. Alexa will no longer listen to your commands until the microphone has been turned back on.
It's an easy fix to get your microphone set back up with your Amazon Echo. A microphone button is located on the top of the Echo that you can press to enable and disable the feature. If the microphone has been disabled in this way, the button will also be lit up with a red light.

Yes, *****.
Please, keep me posted.

OK RED LITE IS OFF---BUT I AM LISTENING TO SIRIUS XM ON MY COMPUTER. DOES THAT INTERFER WITH ALEXA TUNING TO SIRIUS XM???????

Ask Alexa something. Turn the volume on your computer down and ask Alexa something like "Alexa, do you hear me?"

Customer Replay

YES SHE CAN HEAR ME!!!

Great!
Now, you know that if the device has a red light, the microphone is most probably off.
I am so pleased to see your issue got resolved!
