Lately, Apple has updated Safari not only for iPhone but also for Mac. Sadly enough, they introduced some changes that are not to the liking of all users. While the mobile version of the browser moved the search bar to the bottom of the screen, the desktop version has a colored background of the control panel and open tabs.
It is turned on automatically after updating and adjusts to the shade of the site, which can be quite annoying if you frequently switch between tabs.
Fortunately, it is not difficult to remove it. It is enough to:
Open the browser Settings (via Safari → "Settings") and uncheck the option "Show color in the tab bar".
And that's it: you've got the familiar interface back without the distracting color spots.
