My uniden Dect 6.0 system is locked on a "line in use situation despite all connected phones not inuse

Hi. My land line phone using the Uniden Dect 6.0 system has become locked in a "line in use" situation despite no phone being in use

it occurred a couple of hours ago and seems to be as a result of trying to add an additional cordless phone extension

*****, "Line in use" is displayed if the line is currently active on a call. Confirm no one else is on the line. If you have multiple handsets, it is possible that one of them is turned on so check the rest of the handset and turn it off.

No handset is in use. all have been checked.

Have you tried to restart your Telstra smart modem? It can be the reason also.

Unplug it for 60 seconds and then plug it back in, please.

The system has come back on of its own accord before I turned off the modem !!!!!!

So it is already working properly?

It would appear so. Now I have to try and connect in the new extension handpiece
