My T6R will not allow me to set the end of scheduled CH periods from Monday to Friday, it works fine form Sat to Sun

You said it only works correctly in a specific days, did I get you right?

it has two sets of days Mon-Fri and Sat-Sun. It allows me to set the periods for Sat-Sun, but when I press on the end time for any period on the Mon-Fri schedule the programme does not respond
to be more specific, the end time does not flash when pressed to allow it to be adjusted
I have no idea whether I like the exert until I receive some advice on how to sort this

That's a good point, *****.
So, *****, Honeywell says, that if Start Time for a period cannot be adjusted – check and adjust End Time for the previous one to the desired hour – The Start Time will then adjust automatically.
If the End Time for a period cannot be adjusted – check and adjust Start Time for the next one to the desired hour – The End Time will then adjust automatically.

I'll try that, thanks, but also, is there a way to restore the factory setting times so that at least they are in place?
I have tried what you suggested, but even if I clear all the six periods, so that all the times are blank, it allows me to enter the start time on the left of the screen, but when I press the end time, I see, thank you for clarifying.

I'm going to send you factory reset instructions.
So, in order to perform a factory reset on a T6 thermostat:

  1. Press and hold the Three Lines button until the Advanced menu opens.
    > You should see "ADV" at the top of the screen of the thermostat. If "MENU" is displayed, go back and redo step 1 until "ADV" appears at the top.
  2. Go to "Advanced Reset" using the left and right arrows.
  3. Press on "Factory"
  4. Press on the checked icon to confirm the rest.

By the three lines button, I meant this one above.

I've just reset the lot and it seems to have saved the new times. Certainly, it allowed me to enter end times now. The proof will be if it switches off later this evening, but so far, so good. Many thanks for your help. You can definitely record on your system that I like my expert, as cringeworthy as that may be. There's no accounting for HR!
