Hello, thank you for using Howly.
No, unfortunately, Windows does not support automatic switching between devices, as Apple devices do.
What needs to be done?
Do you mean to have your headphones switch automatically between your Windows laptop and your iPhone?
Not necessarily, but is it complicated to take a call with the airpods still on
We are both mid 70ties and want to know how difficult it would be. Would we need to cancel the laptop connection and then connect to the iphone all whilst a the phone is ringing
That should not be difficult if you will follow my guide.
Would you like to try it?
yes please
Great. First, please right-click on Windows icon with your mouse and choose Settings.
Sorry, I'm not on my wife;s laptop and we have not bought the airpods yet. iIthought that you were just going to give me a list of instructions
Oh, of course.
To connect AirPods to a PC, put your AirPods in the case and press and hold the small button on the back until the status light starts blinking white. Your AirPods should then show up in the Add a device window in your PC's Bluetooth settings, where you can click to pair and connect.
Thanks
I’m glad I was able to get that sorted out for you. Is there anything else I can assist you with today?
