Zoom is required to charge and collect state taxes (e.g., sales taxes, gross receipts taxes, and certain telecommunications taxes) from customers in certain states where Zoom either has a physical presence (i.e., employees or office locations) or where Zoom maintains a significant market based on the amount of its sales and/or transactions with customers (subject to state specific rules).
- Here are some basic instructions for scheduling your first meeting.
- Sign in to your Zoom web portal.
- Click Meetings.
- Click Schedule a Meeting.
- Choose the date and time for your meeting.
- Select any other settings you would like to use.
- Click Save.
I have a sign in password. Do I need and ID also. If so what would that number be on my invoice?
The ID should be your email.
How do I change my virtual background?
Changing the Virtual Background on the desktop:
- Sign in to the Zoom desktop client.
- Click your profile picture, then click Settings.
- Select Backgrounds & Filters .
- Check I have a green screen if you have a physical green screen set up.
- Click on an image or video to select the desired virtual background.
What if I want no virtual background but my own?
You can choose no background in that same settings.
