Uber issue, can't order a ride it’s saying my phone is in use

I’m trying to order a ride but it’s saying my phone is in use but that’s my number and I didn’t have this issue a few days ago when I took Uber

Then says this number is already in use

I see, lets check your account settings first:

  1. Click on “Account” at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap “View Account”, then tap “Edit account” by your name at the top.
  3. Check the details. do you see there your phone number that you are currently using?

but when I put in my number it says it’s in use

Did you ever used this phone number with Uber on a different device?
