Uber driver app stuck whilst uploading
Short summary:
- Restart your iPhone:
Press and hold the power button until the slider appears on the screen.
Slide it from left to right to power off the device.
Wait for a few seconds, then press and hold the power button again until the Apple logo appears to turn it back on. - Check for app updates:
Open the App Store on your iPhone and tap on the "Updates" tab at the bottom.
If there is an available update for the Uber driver app, you should see it listed there.
Tap on the "Update" button next to the app to install the latest version. - Uninstall the app:
If the issue persists, try deleting the app and reinstalling it.
Tap and hold on your home screen until the icons start jiggling.
Look for the Uber driver app icon and tap on the small "x" button in the corner of the app icon.
Confirm the deletion by selecting "Remove" when prompted.
Note that removing the app from the home screen will keep it in the App Library. - Reinstall the app:
Open the App Store again and search for "Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver."
If you can't find it, you can ask someone to share the app with you via email.
Once you find the app, tap on the "Get" or "Download" button to reinstall it. - Test the app:
After the reinstallation, open the Uber driver app and check if it is functioning properly.
Make sure you can log in and access all the necessary features.
If everything is working as expected, you have successfully resolved the issue.

What troubleshooting have you done with the Uber driver app so far?
None. I tried to uninstall it .... but couldn't as it wont go to an uninstall directive

That was the update that was downloading...then it stuck

The app is working on my other devices...iPad, and other older iphone

i turned it off, a couple of times. But still nothing

Have you tried to tap and hold on your home screen for a couple of seconds till you can interact with the icons of the apps and then delete the app?
yes. THe only message that comes up is: Remove "Uber Driver"? Removing from Home Screen will keep the app in your App Library.
All other apps has the remove or delete app
Okay, click on "remove".
Then go to the App Store, find the Uber driver app, and tell me please what options you see there.
Have done that a couple of times before. Cant see the app in the App Store
