Payroll, process incorrect amount

Processed payroll. Overpaid an employee. re-entered details. now have 2 payments. how do i delete

Whether you can delete or reverse a pay is based on its status in the STP Payroll Reporting Centre. This ensures pays which have been accepted by the ATO can't be deleted. Instead, you'll only have the option to reverse the pay and then report that reversal to the ATO.
If the status is Rejected or Not Sent you can delete the pay.

Please follow the instructions below:
Go to the Payroll menu and click Pay runs.
Click the Date of payment to display the details.
Click the name of the Employee whose pay you want to delete. Based on the status of the pay run in the Payroll Reporting Centre, you'll have the option to either delete or reverse the pay.

Great! Please go to Find Transactions, find that pay transaction and open it by clicking on the zoom arrow click on Edit and select Reverse Transaction

if I click edit o the top bar - I can delete transaction
reverse transaction is not there

my menu option is Delete transaction

That's the one! Since it was not sent to ATO yet, you get the "delete" option. That's what I described in the very first instruction I sent.

leaving the second one
