Paper stuck in epson et2720 paper feed and cannot get it out

Short summary:

  1. Turn off the printer: Locate the power button on your printer and press it to turn off the device.
  2. Unplug the printer: Disconnect the power cord from the power source or wall outlet.
  3. Identify the rear paper feed slot: Look at the back of your printer for a rectangular opening, which is the rear paper feed slot.
  4. Prepare A4 size paper: Get a sheet of A4 size paper. A4 paper is a standard paper size commonly used in many countries.
  5. Insert the A4 size paper: Gently insert the A4 size paper into the rear paper feed slot. Apply enough force to push the stuck paper out of the printer's paper path. Be careful not to force the paper too hard to avoid damaging the printer.
  6. Check for any remaining stuck paper: After inserting the A4 size paper, visually inspect the printer to ensure there are no more pieces of paper stuck in the paper path or any visible obstructions.
  7. Plug in and turn on the printer: Reconnect the power cord to the printer and plug it back into the power source. Press the power button to turn on the printer.
  8. Test printing: Try printing a document or test page to see if the error message has been resolved. Ensure that the printer properly feeds and prints the paper without any further issues.
