My passwords are suddenly messed up and I can't get email on my I phone or PC

I've already explained my situation several times. I got a notice that I had to enter my password to 365 but when I entered it it didn.t fix the problem. My son, the administrator changed the passwords but that didn't work either Now I can't get emails on either my I phone or my PC.
- Go to your Microsoft 365 sign-in page.
- Under Sign In, select the password link.
- Enter your email address and select Continue.
- Choose an account and select Send Email. ...
- Open the email and select Reset Your Password.
- Enter a New password and Confirm the password, and then select Submit.
I thought only the administrator could change the PW
