My account is with chime and it is checking account only

Short summary:

  1. If you're having trouble logging in to your Chime account, update your phone number associated with the account.
  2. On the verification screen with puzzles, tap "Need help?" after multiple unsuccessful attempts.
  3. Select "Update phone number" from the options provided.
  4. Enter your current phone number that can receive messages.
  5. Try logging in again using your credentials.
  6. If the issue persists, update Chime's settings on your mobile device.
  7. Open the Google Play Store.
  8. Tap the profile icon at the top right corner.
  9. Select "Manage apps & devices."
  10. Look for Chime in the app list and tap on it.
  11. Tap "Update" to install the latest version of the Chime app.
  12. Once updated, try logging in to your Chime account again.

Chime sends a confirmation code to your phone number when you log in to the app. As you cannot receive SMS on the phone number associated with your Chime account, you can try update it:

  1. On the verification screen, tap Need help?.
  2. Select Update phone number.
  3. Put the same phone number

Ensure that whenever you change your network provider or mobile device, you update Chime’s settings. To update the settings, follow the steps mentioned below.

  1. Open Google Play.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & devices. Apps with an update available are labeled “Update available.“
  4. Select Chime and tap Update.
