Lost all contacts on Iphone - nothing to do with iinet - maybe cloud problem

Gone to settings - there is a message that says "finish setting up your iphone' - then "set up apple pay"

To attach pictures to our chat, you need to press the paper clip button in the lower right corner of the chat window. Then you have either to choose an image on your device or take a photo right away. Then confirm sending.

I have now entered the iPhone Passcode, after gettinto iCloud, but nothing as yet - then it says Merge or Don't merge

If you choose “Don't Merge”, content from iCloud will replace what you have on your iOS device o.k have Tapped Merge - screen now says Name phone numbers & email

No - I can access iCloud "find my" *****'s iPhone - do I need to do anything else to get Contact Names back ?

  1. Sign in to iCloud.com
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the window, then select Data Recovery.
  3. Select Restore Contacts or Restore Bookmarks.
  4. Select Restore next to the date before you deleted the content.
  5. Select Restore again to confirm. After the restore completes, you get a notification on iCloud.com and an email at the address on file with your Apple ID.

I am in iCloud, but no Data Recovery. There is a contact icon with green light indicat, I assume means it is on.

Seems to be due to a merger. Your contacts have been saved to your iCloud and you just turned on sync
