I'd like to point out that Uber operates as an online service first and foremost, so to schedule a ride with them, you'll need to have an account with Uber. If you're requesting a ride from your smartphone, you'll need to download their app as well. 1. Enter your phone number and tap Next.
2. Enter the code you should have received in the text message to verify the number. Tap Next again.
3. Type in your email and continue further with the Next button, where you'll be asked for your first and last name.
4. Finally, you'll need to select your payment method. You can either add a credit/debit card, or pay with cash.
5. Go to your email inbox and look for a message from Uber that asks you to confirm your email address. To do so, just click the link inside that email.
6. You're good to go - you can now request a ride from the Uber app!
