i did a search and it said before I do any factory reset I should restart the phone which I did but do not have any incoming calls cand you call me?

Go to Accessibility > Interaction & Dexterity>Assistant Menu. Turn on the toggle next to off on the next screen. Then, you will find the Single tap-to-swipe option. Enable it.

I read caller names alouded, ON answer auto ON, press volume up ON, That must be it?
