I wanted to do was change my credit card details so that my Uber account is active

1. Select “Account” and then “Wallet” in your app.
2. Tap “Add Payment Method.”
3. Add a payment method by scanning a card, manually entering card info, or adding an alternative payment type.

Please follow
Select “Account” and then “Wallet.”
Select the card you'd like to delete.
Tap the three-dot icon in the upper-right corner.
Tap “Delete,” then confirm.

There is no three dot icon . but it did give me the option at the bottom of the page to delete that information.. hopefully this has solved the problem
