But it’s locked on loading and asking me to continue with my name or switch account I don’t want to switch account and I’m not going to change my password.

I was sending a birthday message to a friend when it locked and it’s saying loading and wants to know if I want to continue as ***** or switch account I push to continue with *****. But it won’t let me it keeps saying loading and my friends and family can’t send me messages and I can’t send them either.

How do I do that

Press and hold the Power button until you see a switch that says "Turn Off".
The phone will turn off, then use the same button to turn it on and try to use the Messenger app again.

If you get disconnected - just come back here, and we will be reconnected automatically.
