I need to transfer data from my family site to the family tree builder

I need to transfer data fom my family site into my family tree builder without having my family site overwritten by the obsolete data in the tree builder during synchronisation.

I have done the instructions in the questions area. When I open the family tree it immediately starts to synchronise an d overwrite my data in the family site with the obsolete data in the family tree builder.

Let us follow the simple thing:
Open up Family Tree Builder and on the main toolbar click on the 'Sync' button to synchronize your tree with your family site. You can also click on 'Sync
Look Hanna. I have tried the sync thing before. What happened is that it overwrote all my good data in the site with the garbage data in the tree builder.

You may not be able to edit your tree online because the tree was created in an older version of Family Tree Builder software

Now, as of version 8.0, Family Tree Builder syncs the tree with your family site and vice versa.
To download Family Tree Builder 8.0, please click here: https://www.myheritage.ro/family-tree-builder. Sync your tree with the site, and you will be able to edit it online. Changes made online will appear on your FTB software after the next sync.

I have now removed the old version completely with all the garbage data and will download the one on the link.

Thank you for helping me. I have removed the old version of family tree builder and installed the link you have sent to me. The new programme automatically retrieved the new data in my family site and both are now up to date! Your help is much appreciated.
