Nice to meet you, *****!
Do you connect your PC to the internet via Wi-Fi or cable?
Customer Reply
It's a cable that goes through the Wifi router, but I have bypased the wifi and plugged the cable into the computer and the problem persists.

Okay, got it
The issue can be:
1. Port of your computer
2. Damaged cable
3. Provider issue
Don't you have an adapter for wireless connection to be sure the issue is with a port or cable but not on the provider side?
Customer Reply
Sorry you lost me. I have tried using different cables but it didn't sovle the problem.

Okay, so the issue can be:
1. Your computer port
2. Provider side
Don't have another device where you can connect the cable to check the port issue?

I'm sorry I think were chasing the wrong problem. My issue is that I intermitnently lose inmy internet connection. And when I reboot my computer I get it back. I don't see how port, cable or ISP could be the problem or I would get internet back just by rebooting.
