I have KDL - 46 Purchased in 2017 with a Sony Model YD034 Remote

Your remote is compatible with AA / AAA batteries.
How do I get into the remote to change the batteries?
Place your both thumbs on the back of the remote. As for your other fingers, please, put them on the front of the remote. Push forward, the remote's corpus should slide forward.
New batteries did not do the trick to turn the TV on. Also, as noted above the manual button on the side of the TV did not turn it on.
How old is your TV?
Purchased in 2017.
Have you tried unplugging it, waiting for a bit, and plugging it back in?
