I have an Epson Workforce Pro WF 3820 and I have an internal paper jam

It cannot be accessed from the back or by removing the paper tray. I can see the tiniest piece of paper from the front but it cannot be reached by tweezers

Short summary:

  1. Open the cover on the left side of the printer
  2. Clean the rollers and rubber pieces: Use a paper towel sprayed with window cleaner to clean the rollers and rubber pieces inside the printer.
  3. Put the printer on the left side and remove the paper tray:
Position the printer on its left side.
    Take off the paper tray.
  4. Locate the rollers at the bottom
  5. Remove and clean the rollers:
Take off the rollers and clean them.
  6. Replace the rollers:
Put the cleaned rollers back in their place.
  7. Access the back side of the printer:
Remove a specific detail (not specified in the conversation) to access the back side of the printer.
  8. Ensure cleanliness and smooth rotation:
Check that there are no obstructions blocking the paper path.
Make sure the rollers at the back are spinning smoothly.
  9. Reassemble the printer:
Put the paper tray back in its original position.
  10. Test printing:
Attempt to print a document to check if the issue has been resolved.

Is it possible for you to take me a photo of that jam, please?

Got it.
Could you see a cover on the left side on the top of your Epson printer?

Now we need to replace and clean the rollers on the bottom of your printer.

Explain the process please

Put your printer on the left side and take off your paper compartment.
After that, let me know!:)

Customer Replay

By paper compartment do you mean the paper tray?

You are right!:)

Could you see a roller there?

Customer Replay

I can see two narrow white rollers facing east and west and three or four smaller rollers between them running front to back

You need to find these rollers!:)

I can see those

You need to take them off and clean.
Do you know how to do it?

Customer Replay

I can move them up enough to clean them

It is okay, but you need to replace it too.

Customer Replay

That's done

Did you replace and clean it?

Customer Replay

Yes

So nice!:)
Now, we need to get the back side of the printer.
Please, take this detail off and check if everything is clean.
Check that nothing is blocking your paper and that the rollers are spinning smoothly.
