I am trying to replace the ink cartridge on an HP 8025
The lid to the ink and printer compartment will not open. It appears to be latched on the left side and will not open.

Please, try the next actions: put the upper scanner lid back down completely > then open BOTH lids at once.
The upper lid should activate the switch that allows the cartridge cover to open with it.
