How do I enlarge the print on my downloaded book on the Kindle?

Have you already tried to enlarge the print but something went wrong or do you just want to know how to do it?
If you haven't tried to fix it, then try this:

  1. Open a book on your Kindle.

  1. Tap the top of the screen to bring up the reading toolbar.
  2. Select the Aa icon.
  3. Choose the text size appropriate for your reading comfort level.

I have been using that before and could not enlarge the print

What app do you use to read books on your apple device?

Im not sure. I downloaded it from the Apple store and have used it for a few years but I have lost all the info bars that allow me to highlight, make notes on the text, and enlarge the text etc.
It is called Apple Books

Launch the Books app from your Home screen.
Tap on the book you want to read.
Tap the appearance button. It's the aA icon at the top.
Tap the A to adjust the font size. The smaller A makes it smaller and the larger A makes it bigger.

I have found it but am not sure what the appearance button is as I havent an A icon at the top.

something magically appeared at the bottom right hand corner while I touched the screen randomly bit it did bring up a window which is titled Themes and Settings and under that options and different font sizes and backgrounds. I dont understand why or how I got it today and not yesterday???

Actually Im talking to you on my desk top and testing whaat you say on my new ipad ill take a camera shot but dont know how I can transfer it to you on this chat
Thank you I have closed the window and been able to find it again. So I think Im ok. there are all the things there that I want and I think I can access them reliably now...
