How do I clear error code 2800 on my genrac generator
Generac has two Auxiliary shutoff switches. Both of these switches have to be flipped onto “on” mode for your Generac generator to operate. If either switch or both switches are turned off, the unit will show the error code 2800.
Could you please check if both of them are turned on?

The Generac generator 2800 error code will commonly show up during an auxiliary shutdown if any part of the generator’s series circuit is broken. One reason for the 2800 error may be that the switch had a strange spot on the contacts. Other reasons could be that part of the series circuit is broken, there is a loose wire, or the switch has been physically damaged.
